Council Meetings

Council meetings provide an opportunity for local leadership to discuss important issues, make decisions, and plan for the future of the Town of Arcola. Here, you’ll find meeting schedules, agendas, and minutes to stay informed about the discussions and actions that shape our community.

Council and committee meetings are held in the Council Chambers at the Town Office. If you wish to observe a meeting or address the Council as a delegate, please contact our office for instructions.

Meeting Dates

Regular Council meetings for the Town of Arcola are scheduled for the:

Second Tuesday of each month at 5:00 p.m.
Location: Town Office, 127 Main Street, Arcola, SK

Please note that meeting dates are subject to change. Any changes will be posted on social media, the Town website, and at the Municipal Office.

Delegation Requests

If you wish to address the Council at an upcoming regular meeting:

  1. Complete a Delegation Request Form.

  2. Submit the form, along with any presentations or documents, to the Municipal Office at least one week before the meeting you wish to attend.

 

Council strives to be paperless, so please provide your presentations/documents in advance to ensure electronic copies are available, rather than bringing paper copies to the meeting.

  • Delegates are allotted 15 minutes to present to the Council.

  • The Council will not engage in debate during the meeting.

  • Delegates will receive a written response within ten business days following the meeting at which they presented.
