Our ice area at the Prairie Place Complex is a space we’re especially proud of. It’s where our community comes together in the winter months—whether it’s for minor hockey games, figure skating, public skating, or just enjoying time on the ice with friends and family. The rink is fully equipped with dressing rooms, a comfortable viewing area for spectators, and a concession to keep everyone warm and fueled during busy game days.
Over the years, we’ve hosted everything from tournaments to seasonal events like "Paint the Ice", where local kids get creative to celebrate the end of another great season. Thanks to generous support from local organizations, we’ve been able to make important upgrades to our dressing rooms, kitchen facilities, and lobby seating, helping us offer an even better experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
For us, the rink isn’t just a place to skate, it’s a place where memories are made, friendships are formed, and our community spirit shines the brightest.
Our curling rink at the Prairie Place Complex is an important part of community life in Arcola. With three sheets of ice, it hosts everything from weekly league nights and bonspiels to recreational curling for all ages.
The facility includes a welcoming lobby, lockers, and large space for spectators to take in the action. Whether you're a seasoned player or new to the sport, the rink offers a relaxed and inclusive environment that makes it easy to get involved. Curling has long been a part of Arcola's identity, and this space helps keep that tradition alive each winter.

Our community hall at the Prairie Place Complex is one of Arcola’s key gathering spaces, known for its versatility and capacity to host a wide range of events. With seating for approximately 450 guests, the hall is ideal for everything from weddings and banquets to community meetings, trade shows, and seasonal celebrations. The space is designed to be flexible, featuring a large open floor plan that can be adapted to suit formal dinners, conferences, or casual get-togethers.
