What Is Property Assessment?

Property assessment is the process of determining the value of all properties within a municipality to ensure a fair and equitable property tax system. In Saskatchewan, the Saskatchewan Assessment Management Agency (SAMA) oversees assessment policies, conducts property valuations, and confirms municipal assessment rolls across the province.
