About Arcola

Nestled on the sunny side of the Moose Mountains, the Town of Arcola is a vibrant and welcoming community of over 650 residents. Located just 30 minutes from Moose Mountain Provincial Park, Arcola offers the charm of small-town living with easy access to the natural beauty of southeast Saskatchewan.

Arcola is proud to be a family-focused community with a strong and growing population of young families. The local school serves students from Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 12, making it an ideal place to raise children in a safe and supportive environment.

The Town's rich history is visible in its stunning early 1900s brick architecture, with many buildings constructed from locally manufactured bricks. Arcola's heritage and scenic backdrop make it the perfect setting for the 1976 film adaptation of W.O. Mitchell's Who Has Seen the Wind, which featured many local landmarks and residents.
